MEN’S TRACK
Isaac Botsio, West Texas A&M, Sr., Sports and Exercise Science, Takoradi, Ghana
West Texas A&M senior Isaac Botsio ran a 10.09 in the 100 meters at the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco, Texas. Botsio took silver but was the first collegian across the finish line. He then anchored a 4x100 meter relay squad that recorded a 39.20 and took silver behind only a NCAA Division I team. Both marks cracked the top 15 all-time in Division II history, with the former ranking 14th and the latter ranking 8th.

Django Segovia, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr., General Studies, Marble Falls, Texas
Texas A&M-Kingsville senior Django Segovia cleared 5.05m in the pole vault to take silver at the J. Fred Duckett/Rice Twilight Meet in Houston, Texas. Segovia finished behind a NCAA Division I opponent. His clearance ranks 27th in Division II this season and also ranks 7th in program history.

WOMEN’S TRACK
Emiliia Tangara, West Texas A&M, Fr., Sports Psychology, Voronezh, Russia
West Texas A&M freshman Emiliia Tangara broke her own school record and now has the top 400-meter hurdles time in all of NCAA Division II this season after a 56.20 at the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco, Texas. Tangara, who wins the league’s top weekly track award for the second time this season, took silver but was the highest placing NCAA competitor in the event. She has the top time in the country by 1.50.

WOMEN’S FIELD
Marie Schuler, Angelo State, Sr., Business, Langenfeld, Germany
Angelo State senior Marie Schuler broke her own LSC record in the hammer throw with a 61.44m (201’ 7”) at the ASU Invite in San Angelo, Texas.
