No. 14 Central Washington, UT Permian Basin, Midwestern State, Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville were all victorious in Week 4 of Lone Star Conference football. All but CWU won on the road. UTPB is now 3-0 in league play. CWU, MSU and TAMUK are also unbeaten at 2-0. ASU improved to 1-1.

(RV) UT Permian Basin 56, Eastern New Mexico 10: Nate TenBarge threw for four touchdowns and ran for another to fuel the Falcons to a 56-10 road win over Eastern New Mexico at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium in Portales, N.M. UTPB totaled 583 yards of total offense, while the Falcons’ defense had eight sacks and kept ENMU off the scoreboard in the second half. Ten Barge finished 18-for-28 for 245 yards and 50 yards on eight carries. Trayeln Suel had five catches for 95 yards and two of the TDs. Eli Leiataua had 11 tackles and two sacks and Elijah Robinson and Layne Horak each had an interception. ENMU took an early lead on a Kaden Dow field goal and made it 28-10 in the second quarter on a Jake South pass to Trei Kibbles. Complete Release
 
Angelo State 29, No. 17 Western Oregon 28 (OT): Ayden Arp threw four touchdown passes and the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime to lift the Rams to a 29-28 road upset of No. 17 Western Oregon at McArthur Field in Monmouth, Ore. Arp, who was 28-for-44 for 280 yards, connected with Alan Dobbins on a six-yard TD pass with 9:35 to play to tie things at 21-21. In overtime, WOU struck first on a one-yard run by Tyler Konold and Ashton Wolff kicked the extra point. ASU answered with another Arp-to-Dobbins connection – this time from 12 yards out – and the Rams went for two and Arp found Trevor Winn for the win. ASU’s Jeremy Ramirez averaged 43.3 yards on seven punts, while WOU’s Kyle Babcock averaged 46 yards on nine booms. The Wolves’ Jordan McCarty threw for 194 yards and three TDs, while Jayden Brannan had two sacks. The game was tied 7-7 at halftime.  Complete Release
 
Midwestern State 41, West Texas A&M 31: Kaden Brown broke the record for total offense in a single game with 507 yards to lead Midwestern State to a 41-31 road win over West Texas A&M. The victory snapped the Mustangs’ six-year losing streak to WT and won for the first time at Buffalo Stadium in Canyon, Texas. Brown finished 29-for-43 passing for 475 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. He added 32 yards and one score on the ground. Joseph Dodds ran for 120 yards on 24 carries and Fabian Baez caught six passes for 125 yards and two TDs. CJ Anderson l ed MSU’s defense efforts with 10 tackles. WT’s Knox Porter threw for 305 yards and two TDs without a pick and Trace Clarkson caught seven passes for 100 yards and a score. The Buffs’ Miles Hill had a game-high 15 tackles and Isaiah Orlandi ran a kickoff back 94 yards for a TD. MSU led 27-24 heading into the fourth quarter and sealed the win with a Brown passing and rushing TD. Complete Release
 
Texas A&M-Kingsville 52, Western New Mexico 14: Christian Kretz set new single-game receiving records with 16 catches and 270 yards to lead Texas A&M-Kingsville to a 52-14 road victory over Western New Mexico at Ben Altamirano Field in Silver City, N.M. Kretz had three touchdowns – all in order over the second and third quarter to help the Javelinas build a 29-7 lead. Mills Dawson was 33-for-44 passing for 386 yards and all TDs to Kretz, while Edward Chumley ran for 131 yards and two TDs on 22 carries. Daniel Gauna made three field goals and all four of his extra-point attempts. Taiwo Atunrase had an interception for the Javelinas. WNMU’s Devon Nofoa-Masoe rushed for 120 yards and a TD on 17 carries, while Clayton Zentner had 18 tackles – 13 solo. The game was 21-7 at halftime. Complete Release
 
No. 14 Central Washington 61, Sul Ross State 22: No. 14 Central Washington ran for 443 yards and cruised to a 61-22 win at Tomlinson Stadium in Ellensburg, Wash. Ryder Bumgarner (196 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries), Antoine Lee (114 yards and a TD on 12 carries) and Ki’Marre Washington (85 yards and a TD on 14 carries) led the way for the Wildcats. Dasvid Weber made a pair of field goals in the first half. Cale Allen had eight tackles and a forced fumble, while Connor Goff returned an interception 35 yards for a score to lead the CWU defense that kept SRSU scoreless in the second half. Will Howell passed for two TDs and ran for another score to lead the Lobos on offense. Grant Williams had 13 tackles on the defensive end. CWU led 16-13 after the first quarter. Complete Release
