Lone Star Football Festival Fan Information Guide

The purpose of this guide is to share information and hopefully answer questions relative to your experience as fan at the Lone Star Football Festival on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. We are so glad you are planning to join us for what is shaping up to be the event of the year in Division II football!

Tickets:

Ticket prices are $25 adult and $10 student. A single ticket is good for the entire day (all three games). Tickets are on sale at the main Ticket Window, which is adjacent to Gate A on the North side of the stadium. The Ticket Window is open during regular business hours each day this week and will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and remain operational through 9:30 p.m. Advance tickets may be available in the athletic ticket office of each participating team, as well as Ticketmaster (go to www.ticketmaster.com and search Lone Star Football Festival).

Parking:

Parking is available for $10 in Cowboys Stadium lots. Attendants will be accepting cash payments at parking lot entrances. Cowboys Stadium operates about 12,000 parking spaces. A sufficient number of lots will be open beginning at 10:00 AM. Gates to the stadium will open at 10:30 AM.

Stadium Entrances:

Please be aware that only Gates A, C, and H will be operational for the Lone Star Football Festival. Gate A is located on the North side of the stadium adjacent to the main Ticket Window. Gate C is located on the East end of the stadium, and Gate H is located on the west end of the stadium. Fans will be able to access both sides of the stadium from all three gates.

Seating:

Seating Plan: The seating plan for this event is general admission, except for select sections on each side reserved for marching bands. Fans can choose from seating on three levels – Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame Mezzanine, and Main Concourse – which combine to feature nearly 27,000 chairback seats. A “change out” policy will be in effect for seating in the Hall of Fame Level (sections C106-C115 and C132-C139), whereby spectators will be asked to leave their seats after each game to allow fans for the next game an equal opportunity at seats behind the team bench. Fans seated on the Main Concourse Level need not change out.

Home/Visitor Designation: Home Teams will be Texas A&M-Commerce, Abilene Christian, and Texas A&M-Kingsville. The team bench for Home Teams will be on the South side, and fans of these teams are encouraged to sit on the South side of the stadium. Visitor Teams will be Midwestern State, North Alabama, and West Texas A&M. The team bench for Visitor Teams will be on the North side, and fans of these teams are encouraged to sit on the North side.

Re-Entry/Smoker’s Pass:

Cowboys Stadium has a no re-entry policy that will be in effect at the Lone Star Football Festival. There are a limited number of “smoker’s passes” available at each entrance, allowing smokers to go outside briefly since Cowboys Stadium is a non-smoking facility.

Merchandise:

Football Festival merchandise will be sold at Cowboys Pro Shop kiosks on the Main Concourse Level. Merchandise includes polos ($38), hats ($22), mini helmets ($22), t-shirts ($18), mini footballs ($12) and collector’s pins ($5).

Game Programs:

Football Festival game programs will be on sale just inside Gates A, C, and H. Programs cost $5 and include rosters, team photos and facts for all six (6) teams, updated standings and statistical leaders, information everything from the marching bands to the Harvey Martin Classic, historical facts and figures including information on LSC players in the NFL, as well as feature stories on the Javelina tailgating experience and an LSC student-athlete’s battle with leukemia.

Concessions:

Cowboys Stadium plans to operate at least two (2) concession stands on each side of the stadium, with a plan to increase to four (4) per side as warranted by the crowd. Concession stands will offer an assortment of stadium food and beverages, including beer sales to fans that are at least 21 years of age. The Lone Star Conference encourages fans to drink responsibly so as to prevent harm and protect a positive game environment.
