Fan Information
The purpose of this guide is to share information and hopefully answer questions relative to your experience as fan at the Lone Star Football Festival on September 13-14-15, 2012, at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. We are so glad you are planning to join us for what is shaping up to be the event of the year in Division II football!
Tickets
Advance tickets will be available in the athletic ticket office of each participating team.
Thursday, Sept. 13 (MSU vs. A&M-C, 7 PM):
$20 adults, $10 students
Friday, Sept. 14 (ENMU vs. UIW, 3:30 PM, Southlake Carroll vs. Temple, 7:30 PM):
$20 adults, $10 students
Saturday, Sept. 15 (ASU vs. Valdosta, NOON, ACU vs. TSU, 4 PM, WT vs. TAMUK, 8 PM):
$25 adults, $10 students
Festival Pass (Good for admission all three days):
$35 adults, $15 students
Seating will be general admission with children 1-year and older requiring a ticket. To be admitted with a student ticket, bearer must be between 1 and 18 years old or present valid college ID.

Beginning Friday, July 13, fans can purchase tickets through TicketMaster in three ways:

At any TicketMaster Retail Outlet, including the Wal-Marts in Commerce, Granbury, Weatherford and the HEB stores in Kingsville, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Alice.
Other Points of Sale
Dallas-Fort Worth area fans also can purchase advance tickets during regular business hours at both the Lone Star Conference office and Cowboys Stadium ticket window.
Parking
Parking is available for $10 in Cowboys Stadium lots. Attendants will be accepting cash payments at parking lot entrances. Cowboys Stadium operates about 12,000 parking spaces. A sufficient number of lots will be open beginning two and a half hours prior to kickoff each day. Gates to the stadium will open one and a half hours prior to kickoff each day.
Stadium Entrances
Please be aware that only Gates A, C, and H will be operational for the Lone Star Football Festival. Gate A is located on the North side of the stadium adjacent to the main Ticket Window. Gate C is located on the East end of the stadium, and Gate H is located on the west end of the stadium. Fans will be able to access both sides of the stadium from all three gates. Note: Gate A may be closed for the Friday night game.
Seating
Seating Plan: The seating plan for this event is general admission, except for select sections on each side reserved for marching bands. Fans can choose from seating on three levels – Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame Mezzanine, and Main Concourse – which combine to feature nearly 27,000 chairback seats. A “change out” policy will be in effect for seating in the Hall of Fame Level (sections C106-C115 and C132-C139), whereby spectators will be asked to leave their seats after each game to allow fans for the next game an equal opportunity at seats behind the team bench. Fans seated on the Main Concourse Level need not change out.
Home/Visitor Designation: Home Teams will be Abilene Christian, Angelo State, Eastern New Mexico, Midwestern State and West Texas A&M. The team bench for Home Teams will be on the South side, and fans of these teams are encouraged to sit on the South side of the stadium. Visitor Teams will be Incarnate Word, Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Valdosta State. The team bench for Visitor Teams will be on the North side, and fans of these teams are encouraged to sit on the North side.
Re-Entry/Smoker’s Pass
Cowboys Stadium has a no re-entry policy that will be in effect at the Lone Star Football Festival. There are a limited number of “smoker’s passes” available at each entrance, allowing smokers to go outside briefly since Cowboys Stadium is a non-smoking facility.

Merchandise
Football Festival merchandise will be sold at kiosks on both the East and West ends of the Main Concourse Level. Merchandise will include t-shirts, hats, mini helmets and collector’s pins.
Game Programs
Football Festival game programs will be on sale just inside Gates A, C, and H. Programs cost $5 and include rosters, team photos and facts for all 12 teams, updated standings and statistical leaders, information everything from the marching bands to the Harvey Martin Classic, historical facts and figures including information on LSC players in the NFL, as well as feature stories from around the league.
Concessions
Cowboys Stadium plans to operate at least two (2) concession stands on each side of the stadium, with a plan to increase to four (4) per side as warranted by the crowd. Concession stands will offer an assortment of stadium food and beverages, including beer sales to fans that are at least 21 years of age. The Lone Star Conference encourages fans to drink responsibly so as to prevent harm and protect a positive game environment. Note: Beer sales will cease prior to the Friday night game.
University Outings
Each of the universities involved with this year’s Lone Star Football Festival will be hosting at least one outing geared toward alumni and friends. Fans should check with their university of choice for a complete list.
Tailgating Locations
Tailgating in Cowboys Stadium parking lots is restricted to designated spaces only. There are tailgating spaces in Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 at Cowboys Stadium. The designated tailgating spaces are located on the perimeter of each parking lot and have a grassy area immediately behind the vehicle parking spot. Tailgating spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Tailgating Guidelines
All guests wishing to tailgate, including outings organized by any group, must observe the following guidelines. These guidelines have been developed to provide a fair, reasonable and safe tailgating experience for guests. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the loss of tailgating privileges and ejection from the parking lot.

Tailgating spaces are for vehicles only. Parking spaces may not be used for tents, grills, chairs or other items.

Tailgating is defined as the placement of any item on the ground (chairs, coolers, grills, games, etc.)

Tailgating is only permitted in the grass areas on the perimeter of the parking lots. The maximum area that any single tailgate space may occupy is 9-feet wide and 12-feet deep.

Tailgating must be confined to the area adjacent to the end of the designated tailgating vehicle parking space.

Any grass areas beyond the designated tailgating spaces are considered common ground and may be used by other guests.

Tailgating is not permitted in Lot 3, portions of Lot 5, Lot 8, and Lot 9.

Tailgating is permitted from the time the lots open and up to two (2) hours following the games.

All guests must follow the directions and instructions provided by stadium personnel (parking staff, security, police, etc.).

Dispose of trash in the appropriate receptacles.

Coals must be disposed of in the designated coal containers located throughout the lots. Do not dump coals or store stoves on the grass, parking areas, under or around vehicles.

The following items/activities are prohibited: Deep fryers or any oil-based cooking or frying, Open flame fires of any kind (Note: Charcoal or gas cooking is permitted.), Disorderly conduct, Picketing, political campaigning or soliciting/distribution of any kind, Saving parking or tailgating spaces, Weapons and fireworks, Sale of food, beverage, merchandise, etc., Advertising or promoting any third party products (including but not limited to food and beverage products), Amplified sound systems or the use of radios/audio devices at loud levels.

The 2011 Lone Star Football Festival drew an LSC attendance record 24,837 fans to a tripleheader of games, which included Midwestern State defeating Texas A&M-Commerce 63-17 in the Harvey Martin Classic, North Alabama stopping Abilene Christian 23-17, and West Texas A&M using a quick start to top Texas A&M-Kingsville 42-21.
