Brandon Tripp joined the Lone Star Conference in July 2019 as Assistant Commissioner.
Tripp will serve as the primary contact for several of the conference’s 18 sports including men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s tennis, basketball and baseball.
In addition to serving as the primary contact for many of the conference’s sports, Tripp will oversee the conference’s digital network efforts along with new media and video efforts. He will also assist in LSC championship administration and sport oversight and coordinate brand management efforts within the conference.
Prior to joining the Lone Star Conference, Tripp served as the Assistant Commissioner for the Heartland Conference from 2016-2019. During his time with the Heartland Tripp led the conference’s rebranding effort in 2017 and oversaw the creation and launch of the conference’s digital network while serving as the media contact for 13 intercollegiate sports.
Tripp joined the Heartland Conference from the University of North Texas where he served as the university’s Social Media Strategist for nearly two years beginning in 2014. Prior to his time with the Mean Green, Tripp worked for two years at Fresno Pacific University, a Division II member in California, where he served as the school’s Associate Director of Athletics Communications from 2012-2014.
A native of Irving, Texas, Tripp is a graduate of former Lone Star Conference member Abilene Christian University in where he earned his bachelor’s in journalism in 2011.
Tripp resides in Dallas with his wife Christina.
