The Lone Star Conference partnership with Fox Sports Southwest starts Saturday evening as Tarleton State hosts Midwestern State in a showdown of league leaders for both men’s and women’s basketball.
The games will be streamed live on FoxSportsSouthwest.com and are available to fans free of charge.
Action starts with the women’s game at 5 p.m. featuring a pair of hot teams. The TexAnns (14-5, 11-0) boast a 12-game winning streak, while the Mustangs (14-3, 10-1) have won 10 straight.
A top-10 men’s battle follows between No. 4 Tarleton (18-1, 10-0) and No. 10 MSU (16-1, 9-1), who both have just one loss. The Texans have won 15 consecutive games after suffering its lone loss to Washburn Nov. 19, while the Mustangs started the season 13-0 before falling to Eastern New Mexico Jan. 14.
Additionally, the Tarleton men and women are the league’s only remaining unbeaten teams.
