PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Rabb tied a school record with six touchdown passes while throwing for 393 yards to lead No. 4-ranked Midwestern State to a 56-43 win over No. 20 Eastern New Mexico Saturday night Greyhound Stadium.  The win clinched MSU's fourth Lone Star Conference championship and first outright league title since 2011. The Llano native completed 29-of-47 passes with a pair of touchdown strikes to Xavier Land, Brandon Sampson and Jerryl Yarbrough. The six passing touchdowns matches the most in NCAA Division II this season. It was the fourth-best passing game in school history coming on the heels of last week's 433-yard effort against Tarleton State. DEFENSIVE

Kieston Carter, Texas A&M University-Commerce, SR, DE, Mexia, Texas, Mexia HS

Carter was key for the Lions' defense as they wrapped up their 9-1 season with a 33-21 win over Tarleton. He had five tackles with two important tackles for loss and forced a fumble to lead an opportunistic Lion defensive effort, which limited Tarleton to 272 yards.
