Women’s Tennis: All-conference team revealed

Tarleton State’s Alicia Barbaroux earned Lone Star Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Year honors as the annual awards were announced by league officials on Thursday.

Barbaroux was selected as the women’s top player, while also earning All-LSC honors for her singles and doubles play.

Angelo State’s Zoë Gubbels and Midwestern State’s Ashley Ramirez shared Sportsmanship Player of the Year distinction, while Cameron’s Sarah Frendo claimed Newcomer of the Year honors.

ASU’s Ena Ovcina was tabbed Freshman of the Year.  MSU’s Scott Linn claimed Coach of the Year recognition for the second straight year and third time overall.
