Angelo State was selected to represent the Lone Star Conference in the 2021 NCAA Division II Football Championship field.
The Rams earned the No. 2 seed in Super Region Four and will host a first round game.
ASU received its seventh NCAA DII playoff berth and first since 2014. The Rams welcome Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, Nov. 20 in San Angelo, Texas. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The ASU-UMD winner will advance to play the No. 3 Western Colorado and Nebraska-Kearney victor on Nov. 27.
The championship game will be played December 18, at 8 p.m. Central time at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas and will be broadcast live on ESPNU HD/ESPN3.com. The Lone Star Conference and McKinney ISD are hosting the title game for the third time.
