Midwestern State hangs on for 36-30 win over UT Permian Basin to claim outright LSC title
For the second straight meeting between Midwestern State and UT Permian Basin, a big play finished off a contested win.  Melik Owens ripped around left end and landed a strip sack of UT Permian Basin quarterback Sudden Sapien with less than 10 seconds, that not only closed out a 36-30 win for MSU.  But it also clinched the Mustangs' fourth Lone Star Conference championship in program history...Complete Release
 

Rams Close Out the Regular Season with a 58-19 Win at TAMUK
Angelo State closed out the regular season with a big win, defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville 58-19 on the road on Saturday night at Pepsi Field in Javelina Stadium.
The Rams have now won their last five games to improve to 9-2 overall on the season and 5-2 in Lone Star Conference play.
