Volleyball: Three LSC teams earn berth in regional

Angelo State, UT Tyler, and West Texas A&M have been selected for the 2021 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship.
 
ASU is the No. 4 seed, while UTT is the sixth seed, and WT seventh in the eight-team regional.
 
MSU Denver is the top seed and host for the South Central Regional set for Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 2-4 in Denver, Colo.
 
Colorado Mines, Colorado Mesa, Regis, and CSU Pueblo round out the regional field.
 
In the quarterfinals, ASU plays Regis, UTT faces Mesa and WT meets Mines.
  
2021 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship Bracket
 
Eight eight-team regionals will be played at on-campus sites. Regional competition will be single-elimination, best three-of-five-set matches and will not include a third-place match.
 
The winners of each of the eight regionals will advance to the finals, Dec. 9-11, at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center in Tampa, Fla. Teams advancing to the final site will be reseeded before quarterfinals.  Competition at the finals site will be single-elimination; best three-of-five-set matches.

1 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match #1 – No. 6 UT Tyler vs. No. 3 Colorado Mesa
3:30 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match #2 – No. 7 West Texas A&M vs. No. 2 Colorado Mines
6 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match #3 – No. 5 Regis vs. No. 4 Angelo State
8:30 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match #4 – No. 8 CSU Pueblo vs. No. 1 MSU Denver
 
Friday, December 3
6 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match # 1 Winner v. Quarterfinal Match # 2 Winner
8:30 p.m. - Quarterfinal Match # 3 Winner v. Quarterfinal Match # 4 Winner
