Eight Lone Star Conference Men’s Basketball teams completed undefeated weeks, highlighted by No. 1 Lubbock Christian, No. 18 Angelo State, Texas A&M International, Texas A&M-Commerce and UT Tyler continuing their perfect starts to the season. No. 6 West Texas A&M, Texas A&M-Kingsville and UAFS were the other teams to complete the Thanksgiving week unbeaten.
LSC men’s basketball teams are 65-24 overall and 20-12 against the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the other conference in the South Central Region.

OFFENSIVE
Zach Toussaint, West Texas A&M, SO, Sports and Exercise Science, G, Johnsburg, Ill., Johnsburg HS
Toussaint led the Buffs offense that went 3-0 in week three. The sophomore guard averaged 19.3 points while posting a career-high 27 in WT's 94-74 victory over Midwestern State. In the three games, Toussaint hit 12-of-26 from beyond the arc. Against MSU and Southwestern Oklahoma State, he had five 3-pointers and now leads the league with 24 on the season. The Illinois native also added four assists on the week and added a pair of steals on the defensive end.

Parker Hicks, Lubbock Christian, SR, Secondary Education, F, Decatur, Texas, Decatur HS
Hicks anchored a tough Chap defense that limited opponents to just 51.3 points per game and a 31.7 shooting percentage across three wins in Hawai'i over the Thanksgiving holiday. He had a pair of double-doubles on the week, including one against No. 19 Hawai'i Hilo when he scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds. The senior added another against Chaminade, with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He also had four blocks, three of which came in the win at Chaminade, which LCU limited to just 38 points, 28.6 percent shooting, and a 1-for-24 showing from behind the arc. The 38 points by the Silverswords were their lowest total since November of 1996 when they scored 37 against Iowa.

SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Matthew Wilson, UAFS, dropped in 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting in an 80-61 road win at in-state foe Harding Saturday. He shot 7-for-12 from beyond the arc while also adding seven assists, four rebounds and three steals. It was the third 30-point game for Wilson in a UAFS uniform. UAFS assisted on 26 of 32 baskets and shot 50 percent from the floor overall and 55 percent from long range.
Jairus Roberson, Texas A&M-Commerce, had a career weekend for the Lions in two wins this past weekend. On Saturday, he made eight three-point shots, which is tied for second-most in program history. Roberson also scored 10 of the 16 points for the Lions in overtime. He had 36 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Roberson had 10 threes and is third in the conference with an average of 20 points per game.
Daniel Venzant, St. Edward’s, led in multiple categories for the Hilltoppers as they traveled to Florida. He averaged 22.5 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field while also leading the team in assists and steals. He also averaged five rebounds per game.
Colt Savage, Cameron, shot his name up to fourth in the Lone Star Conference scoring race as he led CU with 25 points in the Aggies’ only game this past week. The former UCO Broncho knocked down five three-pointers against his former team and was 8-13 from the field and 4-4 from the charity stripe in the contest.
Tyrell Carroll, Angelo State, led the Rams to two more victories this past weekend, defeating Missouri Baptist and Arkansas Tech. A guard from Omaha, Neb, Carroll averaged 17.5 points per game this weekend while collecting 10 assists with only two turnovers on the weekend. The Rams remain undefeated, improving to 6-0 to start the season. Carroll also shot 53 percent from the field while averaging a high of 32.9 minutes played over the last two games.
Jermaine Drewey, Texas A&M International, was great offensively for the Dustdevils as they swept two games over the weekend in Colorado. In TAMIU's 61-39 victory over CSU Pueblo on Friday, Drewey scored 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting and 3-for-6 from three, to go along with four rebounds. On Saturday, Drewey followed that performance with 15 points and another 5-for-9 shooting day, with six rebounds, two steals and a block in a 77-72 win over UC-Colorado Springs.
Lloyd Daniels, Lubbock Christian, led the Chaps to a perfect 3-0 week in Hawai'i over the Thanksgiving holiday averaging 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. In Wednesday's game against Hawai'i Hilo, he notched his first career double-double, with 16 points and 11 rebounds. He led LCU in rebounds again on Thursday against Hawai'i Pacific, falling just one short of a double-double with 19 points. He closed out the week with a balanced eight points, five rebounds and five assists against Chaminade.
Micah Fuller, UT Tyler, averaged 13.5 points per game as the Patriots moved to 5-0 on the year with wins over Ouachita Baptist and Mississippi College. Fuller scored 17 of his points by way of the free throw line, totaling 16 and 11 points in the two wins. UT Tyler is 5-0 for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
Tre Flowers, Texas A&M-Kingsville, helped propel the Javelinas to two wins last week that pushed the team's win streak to five-in-a-row. In a five-point win on Friday, Flowers set a season-high with 15 points, knocking down 4-for-9 from beyond the arc as the Hogs topped Arkansas Tech. Flowers added five more points on Saturday as the Javs dominated Missouri Baptist, 75-55. Flowers averaged 10.0 points per game during his team's two victories.
Clashon Gaffney, Texas A&M-Commerce, blocked 10 shots this past weekend and leads the LSC with an average of 4.7 blocks per game, two blocks better than any other LSC player. He had 24 points and 10 rebounds as well. Gaffney scored 20 points on Friday against Mississippi College.
Marcus Jones, Texas A&M-Kingsville, helped anchor an airtight Javelina defense that averaged allowing just 61.0 points per game in two victories last week. On Friday, the Hogs outlasted Arkansas Tech 72-67, and Jones contributed a pair of steals, a blocked shot and five points. The next day, Jones set a career-high with 15 points and added four rebounds and two more thefts as the Javelinas trounced Missouri Baptist, 75-55. Jones finished the week with four total steals and averaged 10.0 points per game.
Dalin Williams, West Texas A&M, averaged six rebounds for West Texas A&M as the Buffs moved to 8-1 on the season with three victories in week three. Williams recorded a pair of blocks against Midwestern State and Southwestern Oklahoma State while helping a Buffs defense that limited opponents to a 62.7 scoring average. The Stinnett, Texas product recorded the game-winning shot in the WT's victory over Oklahoma Baptist to total eight points to go along with seven rebounds.
Logan Cook, St. Edward’s, once again led on the glass for the Hilltoppers, pulling down double-digit rebounds in both games this week to average 11 rebounds per game. He added one steal and 12 points this week as SEU went 1-1 in Florida.
