PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSIVE
JJ Lemming, Central Washington, JR, Business Administration, QB, Steilacoom, Wash., Steilacoom HS
Lemming completed 72 percent of his passes and threw both of CWU’s touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 17-10 homecoming win over Midwestern State last week. The junior accounted for 263 yards of total offense and completed 26 of his 36 pass attempts for 227 yards to help CWU move to 4-1 in conference play.

DEFENSIVE
Ryan Minniti, Western Oregon, SR, Exercise Science, S, Tigard, Ore., Tigard HS
Minniti was all over the field in the Wolves' 27-13 win over West Texas A&M. The senior tied for the team-high in tackles with 10, grabbed his second interception of the season and led the team with three pass breakups. Two of his three breakups came in the fourth quarter. The Tigard, Ore. native also registered one quarterback hurry as WOU held the Buffs to their lowest point total of the season.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Danny Cossette, Western Oregon, SO, Exercise Science, K, Medford, Ore., North Medford HS
Cossette was typically efficient in WOU’s 27-13 win over West Texas A&M, going 2-for-2 on field goals, 3-for-3 on extra points and sending half of his kickoffs for touchbacks. With the Wolves trailing 13-10 in the fourth quarter, the sophomore drilled a 24-yard field goal to tie the game with 6:01 left. He then hit both extra point attempts as WOU scored two touchdowns in the game's final minute.
