PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
OFFENSIVE
Maria-Frances Serrant, West Texas A&M, SO, Psychology, F, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Diego Martin Central
Serrant led the Lady Buffs to a 4-1 win over Eastern New Mexico last week as WT compiled a 1-0-1 record in two matches. The sophomore attacker registered her second hat trick in Maroon & White and is the first player to accomplish the feat in an LSC match this season. Serrant's first goal, which proved to be the game-winner, came in the 19th minute to put WT up 2-0. She followed up with a second in the 33rd minute and capped off the hat trick just after halftime in the 46th minute.

DEFENSIVE
Haley Roberson, DBU, JR, Psychology, DEF, Coppell, Texas, Coppell HS
Roberson clocked 152 of 180 possible minutes during DBU's undefeated week against Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M International. During that stretch, the Patriots outscored their opponents 7-1, holding the Eagles and Dustdevils to two corner kicks and just two shots on target. Roberson was crucial to DBU's success over TAMIU on Saturday, recording both assists in a 2-1 win that helped the Patriots to a conference-high six-game win streak.

GOALKEEPER
Abby Kone, Lubbock Christian, FR, Kinesiology, Goalkeeper, Uvalde, Texas, Uvalde HS
Kone was impressive between the pipes helping LCU to a big 2-0-0 week with wins over Midwestern State and St. Edward's. She started the week with her sixth shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over the Mustangs, registering five saves in the match. The freshman followed her performance up with four saves in the Lady Chaps' 5-1 win over SEU on Saturday, marking the first win for LCU against the Hilltoppers in Austin. The Uvalde native has already moved to fourth all-time in career shutouts for the Lady Chaps (6) with just 16 matches played. Her 60 saves rank fifth most in program history and third most by an LCU keeper in a single season.
