Six teams – DBU, St. Mary's, Texas A&M International, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas Woman's, and West Texas A&M – were unbeaten last week.
Lone Star Conference games continue this week.
LSC volleyball teams are 151-148 overall this season. The squads are currently 13-14 combined against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, the other league in the NCAA Division II South Central Region.

OFFENSIVE
Ayanna Jackson, Texas A&M-Kingsville, SO, Kinesiology, Middle Blocker, San Antonio, Texas, Harlan HS
Jackson led the Lone Star Conference in kills, hitting percentage, and points on the week after helping her squad sweep a pair of LSC opponents in UAFS and Oklahoma Christian. She managed 15 kills and two blocks against the Lady Lions before turning in a 17-kill, three-block performance in a matchup with the Eagles. Overall, she hit .569 across six sets with 32 kills for an average of 5.33 kills per set.
DEFENSIVE
Hannah Thompson, Texas A&M International, SR, Psychology, MB, South Jordan, Utah, Casper College/Bingham HS
Thompson was a force on both ends for TAMIU in their 2-0 week to improve to 4-0 in LSC play. In TAMIU's 3-0 win over Oklahoma Christian, Thompson had five block assists to go alongside five kills and a .417 hitting percentage, while holding OC to a .000 team hitting percentage. In the Dustdevils 3-1 win over UAFS, Thompson had another five block assists and a solo block, with six kills on the offensive side. TAMIU limited UAFS to .113 hitting for the game. She recorded 1.57 blocks per set for the week while opponents hit .072.
SETTER
Lauryn Burt, DBU, SR, Masters in Leadership, Setter, Bakersfield, Calif., Liberty HS
Burt spearheaded the Lady Patriot offensive attack from her setter position and helped lead DBU to a pair of wins over UT Tyler and Western New Mexico. For the week, the Lady Patriots registered an impressive .340 hitting percentage as Burt compile 77 assists and averaged 9.63 assists per set. In DBU’s comeback win in five sets over UTT on Wednesday, Burt matched a season-high with 52 assists and the team hit .317. Two days later, Burt compiled 25 assists as the Lady Patriots posted a .388 hitting percentage in a straight sets victory over WNMU.
