Angelo State completed a perfect regular season at 11-0 overall and 9-0 in Lone Star Conference games.
ASU was selected to represent the Lone Star Conference in the 2022 NCAA Division II Football Championship. The Rams earned the No. 1 seed in Super Region Four and will receive a first-round bye. In the second round, ASU will host the Bemidji State and Winona State winner on November 26 in San Angelo, Texas.
ASU, Central Washington, Simon Fraser, Western New Mexico, and Western Oregon each recorded Lone Star Conference wins last week.
LSC football teams are 56-51 overall this season. The squads are 7-1 combined versus the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which are also in Super Regional Four.

LSC TO HOST 2022 DIVISION II FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
The NCAA Division II Football Committee selected McKinney Independent School District Stadium in McKinney, Texas, as the host site of the 2022-25 Division II football national championship games.
The 2022 title game is set for 12 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 17 and will be televised by ESPNU.
McKinney ISD Stadium and Community Event Center, a 12,000-seat facility built primarily for football, will host the championship contests on December 17, 2022; December 16, 2023; December 21, 2024; and December 20, 2025.
The Lone Star Conference in conjunction with McKinney ISD hosted the 2018, 2019, and 2021 championship games.

Justin Seiber, Simon Fraser, JR, Business Administration, QB, Covington, Wash., Kentwood
Seiber threw a career-best five touchdowns to lead Simon Fraser to a 46-14 win over West Texas A&M in Burnaby, B.C., Canada. The business administration major from Covington, Wash., completed 24 of 34 pass attempts for 293 yards with no interceptions. The five touchdown passes in a single game is the most in the LSC this season and ties Seiber for second all-time amongst SFU quarterbacks. It was the Red Leafs' first triumph of the season and their first win as an affiliate member of the Lone Star Conference.

Led the Wildcats with eight tackles and one forced fumble in CWU's 49-14 Senior Day win over UT Permian Basin. The junior helped hold the Falcons to 309 yards.

Cossette recorded 10 points in the 48-37 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville. The sophomore made both field goals (37 and 41 yards) with four extra points.
