Conference play began Sept. 20 and DBU (2-0-1) and West Texas A&M (0-0-2) are the only teams to have not registered a loss. DBU (5-0-2) is the only team still unbeaten on the season.
 
DBU leads the league in scoring average (2.86), followed by. St. Mary’s (1.81) and Texas Woman’s (1.7). Texas Woman’s leads the conference with just .20 goals allowed per game, followed by Oklahoma Christian (.50) and DBU (.57).

WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
Mackenzee Stokes, UT Tyler, Jr., Kinesiology, MF, Ningi, Australia, St. Columbian’s College
Stokes scored the equalizer in both conference games for UT Tyler, including one against No. 9-ranked DBU for the first result against a nationally-ranked opponent in the Patriots’ Division II era. Her goal in the 1-1 match came late in the first half. Stokes scored against UT Permian Basin with 28 seconds left on the clock to create a 2-2 draw.
 
DEFENSIVE
Erica Brelove, Texas Woman’s, Fr., Computer Science, D, Mansfield, Texas, MHS
Brelove fueled a unit that logged two conference shutouts against Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M International. Brelove also added the only goal of the 1-0 match with OC. Brelove has now won the league’s top weekly defensive award twice this season.
 
GOALKEEPER
Amanda Farris, Texas Woman’s, Jr., Marketing, GK, Bryan, Texas, Rudder HS
Farris recorded two shutouts with six saves to lead Texas Woman’s to conference wins over Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M International. Farris, who has won the league’s top weekly goalkeeper award for the third time this season, had a crucial penalty kick save against OC in a 1-0 match. Farris has allowed only two goals over 10 games.
