Western Oregon, UT Permian Basin, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Central Washington all earned Week 6 wins. UTPB was the only squad to win on the road. No. 21 Angelo State had a bye. To read the recaps, click here.
 
UTPB (5-1 overall, 3-0 LSC) and CWU (4-2, 4-0) are the only conference teams unbeaten in league play. Both have won four consecutive games.
 
UTPB owns the league’s top total office (463.8 yards per game) and total defense (244.3 ypg). Angelo State ranks second in both categories at 419.4 ypg and 245.6 ypg, respectively.
 
In the most recent American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 Poll, Angelo State is No. 20. Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Permian Basin and Central Washington are all receiving votes. To see the entire poll, click here.

OFFENSIVE
Tyler Flanagan, Central Washington, So., Occupational Safety Healthy & Management, RB, Woodland, Wash., WHS
Flanagan ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and added an 87-yard touchdown return on the game’s opening kickoff to help Central Washington past Eastern New Mexico 38-35. Flanagan, who takes the league’s top offensive weekly honor for the second consecutive week, also had two catches for 31 yards. He had the Wildcats’ first three touchdowns to help them to their fourth consecutive victory. Flanagan leads the league with nine rushing TDs and 95 rushing yards per game.
 
DEFENSIVE
Hayden Kelly, UT Permian Basin, Gr., MBA, LB, Magnolia, MHS
Kelly had a game-high 14 tackles – 13 solo – to help lead UT Permian Basin to its first win over Midwestern State, 21-13, in program history. Kelly also had two tackles for loss and one quarterback hurry in the road game that was also the Falcons’ fourth straight victory. He led a unit that held the Mustangs to only one touchdown and 85 passing yards. Kelly leads the LSC with 33 solo tackles.
 
SPECIAL TEAMS
Josh Jones, Central Washington, Sr., Business, K, Tampa, Fla., Fivey HS
Jones made a 24-yard field goal, had two extra-points and assisted with kickoff duties to help lead Central Washington to a 38-35 conference home win over Eastern New Mexico. Jones’ field goal came right before halftime to provide a 24-21 advantage. He leads the league with an 87.5 field goal percentage. Jones averaged 63.5 yards on two kickoffs with one touchback.
