2023 NCAA Division II Football Bracket
Lone Star Conference champion UT Permian Basin and league runner-up Central Washington were selected to represent the LSC in the 2023 NCAA Division II Football Championship’s field of 28 teams, it was announced by the NCAA on Sunday (Nov. 12).
UTPB (10-1 overall, 9-0 in LSC) earned its first NCAA Division II playoff berth, while CWU (7-3, 7-1) is in the playoffs for the seventh time and first since 2021.
The Falcons earned the No. 2 seed in Super Region Four and will host Bemidji State (Minn.) in the first round on Saturday, Nov. 18 at a time to be determined.
The Wildcats will be traveling to No. 2 seed Western Colorado in the first round on Saturday, Nov. 18. The kickoff time in Gunnison, Colo., is also to be determined.
The winner of the UTPB-Bemidji State and CWU-Western Colorado games will meet in the second round on Saturday, Nov. 25.
The NCAA Division II Football Championship title game, which is co-hosted by the LSC, will be played Dec. 16, at Noon CT at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas.
