Texas A&M-Kingsville square-off in the final match of the 2023 Lone Star Conference Volleyball Tournament Saturday at 3 p.m.
West Texas A&M (27-3) is two-time tournament defending champion (2021, '22) and has 17 LSC tournament titles. Texas A&M-Kingsville (21-9) has played in 27 conference tournaments, but are making a first trip to the final match.
To the winner goes the LSC hardware as well as automatic qualification to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship. Qualifiers to the national tournament will be announced online Monday (Nov. 20) at 6:30 p.m. CT at
NCAA.com.

The LSC Championship Tournament is hosted by DBU at the Burg Center. Spectators should note it is Homecoming Weekend at DBU with several activities scheduled on-campus throughout the remainder of the volleyball tournament.

No. 5 seed
Texas A&M-Kingsville (21-9) ousted No. 1 seed DBU in four sets (25-20, 25-11, 19-25, 25-19) to move the final round for the first time in 27 seasons.
No. 2 seed
West Texas A&M (27-3) advanced to its third consecutive championship match appearance with a 3-0 semifinal sweep of Angelo State (25-19, 25-23, 25-17).
