Conference play began Sept. 20 and No. 9 DBU (1-0), St. Mary’s (2-0), Oklahoma Christian (0-0-1), Texas A&M International (0-0-1) and West Texas A&M (0-0-2) have not lost. DBU (4-0-1) and OC (4-0-2) are the only teams still unbeaten on the season.
DBU leads the league in scoring average (3.4), while Texas Woman’s leads the conference with just .25 goals allowed per game.

Ejere fueled St. Mary’s 2-0 start to LSC play against UT Tyler and Lubbock Christian. Ejere scored the opening goal in both matches. She scored in the 23rd minute of the Rattlers’ 3-1 win over UT Tyler and went airborne from the corner of the box to find the back of the net in a 2-1 road match against LCU.
DEFENSIVE
Rylee Avery, Texas Woman’s, Fr., Kinesiology, D, Fort Worth, Texas, Timber Creek HS
Avery led a unit that allowed just one goal over two LSC games against Midwestern State and St. Edward’s. She added an assist in a 2-0 shutout against St. Edward’s. It was the Pioneers’ conference-leading fifth shutout.
GOALKEEPER
Reagan Heelan, West Texas A&M, Jr., Civil Engineering, GK, Kearney, Neb.
Heelan kept West Texas A&M unbeaten to begin LSC play by allowing just one goal with 16 saves over 180 minutes played against Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M International. Heelan had a career-high 11 saves in a shutout of TAMIU. Against OC, she allowed a goal in the 23rd minute then kept the Eagles scoreless.
