Western Oregon cruises past Eastern New Mexico, 49-20, moves winning streak to four games: Western Oregon scored the most points in a game in nearly three years and moved its winning streak to four games with a 49-20 victory over Eastern New Mexico on Saturday at McArthur Field. The four-game winning streak is the longest for the Wolves since 2019. WOU quarterback Kainoa Jones showed off both his passing and running skills on the day, going 9-for-12 passing for 153 yards and a touchdown while rushing for a team-high 94 yards and three TDs. Angelo State rolls past Texas A&M-Kingsville, 38-0, to improve to 4-0 in conference: With a sold-out crowd on Family Weekend, Angelo State put together a dominating performance as the Rams defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville 38-0 on Saturday at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field. The Rams improved to 4-0 in conference and also extended their win streak over the Javelinas to 11 games. ASU’s Braeden Fuller threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns – two to Kel Williams – and Kenton Allen finished with a game-high 12 tackles and an interception. Complete Release

 
Midwestern State uses pair of pick-sixes in 40-21 win over Sul Ross State: Midwestern State picked off Sul Ross State three times, returning two for touchdowns in a 40-21 win Saturday night at Memorial Stadium. Larry Donnell returned an interception for 98 yards for a touchdown to give the Mustangs a 20-0 lead in the second quarter, then Karter Houchin returned another for a 29-yard score in the third quarter to extend the MSU advantage to 37-7. MSU’s Andrew Knebel passed for 190 yards and two scores without an interception as the Mustangs built up a 30-0 led at halftime. Complete Release

 
Big Second Half Gives West Texas A&M a 42-17 Homecoming Win: West Texas A&M picked up a homecoming victory for the seventh straight year as it compiled 632 yards of total offense en route to a 42-17 victory over Western New Mexico in front of over 8,000 fans on Saturday night at Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium. WT quarterback Kanon Gibson threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns – two each to Zorian Stanton and Tucker Swoboda. Tre’Jon Henderson rushed for 105 yards on 13 carries. UT Permian Basin upsets No. 9 Central Washington on the road, 14-13: It was a memorable first collegiate start for true freshman quarterback Issac Mooring and UT Permian Basin's defense and special teams also shined as the Falcons came up with a 14-13 victory on the road against No. 9 Central Washington on Saturday night. It was the highest nationally-ranked team UTPB has defeated in program history. The Falcons were shut out in the first half before a Kennedy McGill 16-yard run in the third quarter and a two-yard run by Mooring in the fourth. UTPB’s Jalon Rocquemore had a game-high 11 tackles and Tristan Exline and Jalani Jefferson each had an interception. Rafael Vargas averaged 38.2 yards on five punts and Angelo Diaz made both extra-point attempts. Kennedy McGill had both scores for CWU, rushing for 10-plus yard scores in the first and third quarter.
