NCAA Division II Volleyball Bracket
Sioux Falls, S.D.--- A 3-1 loss to San Francisco State in the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship ended what has been a historic season for No. 7-ranked Angelo State.
The Rambelles (32-3) opened the semifinal match with a 25-21 win in set one before No. 21-ranked San Francisco State (26-6) fought off numerous ASU comebacks to take the next three sets, 25-19, 25-23 and 25-22, for the win and advance to the Division II national title game vs. Lynn.
In its second-ever trip to the Division II Volleyball Elite Eight (2016, '24), Angelo State advanced to the semifinals marking the 11th time the Lone State Conference has had a team claim a spot among the final four teams in the Division II national tournament.
Angelo State finishes the 2024 season with 32-3 overall and 15-1 conference records, the Lone Star Conference Tournament title and the NCAA South Central Regional championship.
