The annual Lone Star Conference basketball online media days – LSC Hoops Week – begins a week-long preview of the 2025-26 men's and women’s seasons on Oct. 20-24 (Monday-Friday).
 
The LSC men’s and women’s basketball preseason event takes place simultaneously, with preseason polls, players of the year and watch lists announced on Oct. 20 (including video interviews of the preseason players of the year) and video interviews of the head coach and two players from each of the LSC’s 34 teams on Oct. 21-24.
 
Preseason polls and awards will be published on LoneStarConference.org and the league’s social media pages (X, Instagram and Facebook). Video interviews will premiere on the LSC YouTube page and become available later on the LSC website and social media.
 
The 2025-26 LSC basketball schedule – which begins as early as Oct. 31 – features 17 women's and 17 men's teams. Each team plays 20 conference games – 10 at home and 10 on the road. Complete LSC schedules for men and women are available on the LSC website.
 
The 2026 LSC Basketball Championship features an eight-team field for both the men and women with seeding based on conference game results. The tournaments are scheduled for March 5-8 at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. Tickets will go on sale in February.
 
Fans can watch all LSC home basketball games and the conference tournaments on FloCollege (monthly and yearly subscriptions are available).
