LSC Women's Basketball Championship Central

 
The bracket for the 43rd Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Tournament is set with eight teams heading to Frisco, Texas, and Comerica Center March 6-9.
 
Regular-season co-champions Texas Woman's and Lubbock Christian earned the No. 1 and No. 2 seed, respectively, while UT Tyler and Eastern New Mexico are the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. Angelo State is seeded No. 5 followed by Texas A&M-Kingsville (No. 6), West Texas A&M (No. 7) and UT Permian Basin (No. 8).
 
The women's conference tournament begins with four quarterfinal games on Thursday (March 6). The day's first session opens with No. 3 UT Tyler versus No. 6 Texas A&M-Kingsville at 12 p.m. followed by No. 2 Lubbock Christian and No. 7 West Texas A&M at 2:30 p.m. The second session features No. 1 Texas Woman's facing No. 8 UT Permian Basin at 6 p.m., and No. 4 Eastern New Mexico versus No. 5 Angelo State at 8:30 p.m.
 
The quarterfinal winners advance to the Saturday (March 8) semifinal games at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The LSC Tournament Championship game is scheduled Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. (March 9). The winner of the LSC Tournament earns the LSC automatic qualifying berth in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

No. 1 seed Texas Woman's (28-1, 21-1 LSC) is making its 20th appearance in the LSC Tournament and bring a 22-game winning streak into the postseason. The Pioneers are co-champions of the LSC and East Division. TWU won the LSC Tournament title a year ago and went on to finish as NCAA Division II national runner-up (2024). No. 2 seed Lubbock Christian (27-3, 21-1 LSC) advances to the LSC Tournament for a sixth consecutive year. The Lady Chaps won back-to-back tournament championships in 2020 and 2021, capping the 2021 run as NCAA Division II national champion and an undefeated record (23-0). LCU lists No. 1 in the Division II South Central Region ranking and No. 12 in the WBCA Division II coaches poll. LCU won its second straight LSC West Division title with a 14-0 division record. ... No. 3 seed UT Tyler (25-3, 20-2 LSC) is making a fourth consecutive trip to the LSC Tournament and have advanced to the semifinals in each appearances (2022, '23, '24). LSC Tournament Notes
 
The women share the Comerica Center court with the LSC Men's Basketball Tournament. The men's quarterfinal games are Friday followed by the semifinal games Saturday evening (6 p.m., 8:30 p.m.) and the final on Sunday (3 p.m.). Ticket information is available at the LSC website LINK.
 
Tickets for the LSC Basketball Tournaments are available as single session passes priced at $20 for adults and $12 for students. Each single-session ticket includes two tournament games and are redeemable for the specified session only. Tickets are on sale on Ticketmaster and the Comerica Center Box Office.
