St. Mary's University senior
Libby Kilbride has been named Lone Star Conference Women's Golf Academic Player of the Year and leads the five-player 2025 Women's Golf All-Academic Team announced by the Conference on Sunday (April 20).
A communications major carrying a 4.0 grade-point average, Kilbride is the recipient of the 2025 St. Mary's University Presidential Award and is a two-time Women's Golf Coaches Association Scholar All-American and LSC All-Academic Team honoree. She was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-Region team, is a Division II Athletic Directors Association Achievement award winner, and has earned six LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll citations. On the golf course this season, Kilbride has recorded Top 25 individual finishes in all nine tournaments and placed among the Top 10 at five events. Her current 73.67 stroke average ranks No. 3 on the Rattlers' all time single-season list. Kilbride was a member of the St. Mary's team finishing as NCAA Division II national runners up in 2024.

The Women's Golf All-Academic team is selected by vote of the LSC sports information directors and recognizes student-athlete accomplishments in the classroom and in their sport. To be eligible for the All-Academic Team ballot, individuals must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Kilbride will be a candidate for the 2024-25 LSC Fred Jacoby Academic Athlete of the Year award to be announced in June.
