The Lone Star Conference announced that 2,461 student-athletes earned Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition for the Spring 2025 semester, including 840 individuals who posted a perfect 4.00 grade-point average for the just completed academic term.
The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters with student-athlete qualification based on their grade point average for the specified semester. To be eligible for the recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the institution's sport roster.
Participants in all 19 LSC championship sports, three non-conference NCAA sports, and student staff who assist with athletic training, athletic performance and sports information are included among the Spring 2025 honorees as submitted by their respective Conference institutions.
UT Tyler posted the highest number of student-athletes on the Spring 2025 Commissioner's Honor Roll with 229 honorees, including 83 students with 4.0 semester grade-point averages. Lubbock Christian was second with 221 award recipients followed by Eastern New Mexico (179). Angelo State (169) and St. Mary’s (164) complete the top five institutions on the Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester listing.
