No. 11 UT Permian Basin powers past Midwestern State, 37-15: No. 11 UT Permian Basin stayed perfect on the season with a 37-15 win over Midwestern State at Astound Broadband Stadium. UTPB (4-0 overall, 2-0 LSC) scored 24 points in the second quarter and led 31-0 at halftime. It was the 30th career victory for Kris McCullough. He is believed to be the fourth college football head coach to win 30 games before turning 30 years old. UTPB’s Kanon Gibson was 21 of 29 passing for 331 yards and three TDs – one to Jaylon Tillman (five catches for 102 yards). Tristan Exline (two sacks), Jacob Humprhrey (1.5 sacks) and Jayden Player (one interception) led the Falcons’ defense. For MSU, Noah Bustard had a 25-yard fumble recovery for a score and Amani Pressley returned a point-after attempt 93 yards for a safety. Complete Release
 

 
Texas A&M-Kingsville tops Sul Ross State, 52-3: Texas A&M-Kingsville totaled five touchdowns on the ground and rolled to a 52-3 win over Sul Ross State at Jackson Field. It was the largest margin of victory for the Javelinas since 2022. Edward Chumley ran for 118 yards and a score and Andre Branch found the end zone twice. Jack Turner was 30 of 28 passing for 392 yards and two TDs – one to Christian Kretz (five catches for 121 yard). Doug Brooks and Blake Jaques each had a sack and Julian Payne recovered a fumble for TAMUK. Kamerion Nash (13) and Jonathan Fuamatu (11) had double-digit tackles for SRSU, who made it 7-3 in the first quarter on a Vicente Gariveay 39-yard field goal. Complete Release
 

 
West Texas A&M rolls past Western Oregon, 35-7: West Texas A&M's defense allowed just 35 yards of total offense as the Buffaloes overpowered Western Oregon, 35-7, in front of over 7,000 fans at Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium. Ashton Reynolds (two sacks, three tackles for loss), Jahmek Armstrong (one sack), Miles Hill (one interception) and Kameron Brown (forced fumble) led the WT defense. RJ Martinez was 37 of 46 passing for 313 yards and Sean Johnson (six rushes for 96 yards) ran for two touchdowns. Drew Cox made three field goals. Malcolm Liufau had a game-high 13 tackles for WOU, who also got 11 stops from Aden Murphy. Dylan Camp scored the Wolves’ TD on an interception in the fourth quarter. Complete Release
 

 
No. 17 Central Washington cruises past Western New Mexico, 91-31: No. 17 Central Washington scored five first-quarter touchdowns and Beau Phillips ran back an LSC record two kickoffs for scores and set another league mark with 237 total kick return yards as the Wildcats defeated Western New Mexico 91-31 at Ben Altamirano Field. CWU had seven rushing TDs, including three by Taylor Justice (169 yards on 17 carries). Kennedy McGill passed for two TDs and ran for another score, while Mason Juergens caught two TD passes. Phillips, who also had six carries for 34 yards and TD, ran kickoffs back 100 (tying a conference mark) and 94 yards for two consecutive scores in the second quarter. He had three returns total for a 79-yard average. David Weber was 13-for-13 on extra-point attempts. Defensively, CWU had interceptions from Mike Roberson, Chase Coalson and Trishion Sullivan. WNMU was led by Connor Ackerley’s 378 passing yards and four TDs – three to Deuce Zimmerman. Davey Morales had 12 catches for 143 yards and a TD.  Complete Release
