Lone Star Conference tennis league matches are heating up, as 10 teams have played a conference opponent. No. 33 Cameron and new league member UT Dallas are 1-0 on the men’s side, while No. 31 Angelo State, Lubbock Christian and St. Mary’s are all 1-0 on the women’s side.

Of all the LSC teams (nine men’s and 11 women’s), only one is still unbeaten on the season: the ASU women at 10-0.

Following the ASU women for top winning streaks are the CU men (four matches), Midwestern State men (three matches) and MSU women (three matches).

The LSC Tennis Players to Watch List featured 18 men’s players and 22 women’s players. To see the list, click here.

The LSC Tennis Championships are scheduled for April 30-May 2 at Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas. The men’s and women’s single-elimination tournaments will feature the top five men’s teams and top six women’s teams.

The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s regionals will be held at campus sites from May 8-12, while nationals are set for May 19-24 at Surprise Tennis and Raquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.

Due to being NCAA Division II provisional members, new league member UT Dallas and Sul Ross State are not eligible for the LSC or NCAA tournament but are eligible to win the LSC regular season title and postseason awards.
