Martha Laremark has been named the Lone Star Conference Women’s Golf Academic Player of the Year and leads the 2026 Women’s Golf All-Academic Team as announced by the Conference on Sunday (April 12).
A senior mechanical engineering major, Laremark is a two-time Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar and LSC Women’s Golf All-Academic Team honoree in addition to earning LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll citations. On the golf course, Laremark enters the 2026 postseason ranked 24th in NCAA Division II and seventh in the West Region with a 73.4 adjusted scoring average. During the 2025-26 season, Laremark posted three top three tournament finishes, helping UT Tyler to a No. 7 national and No. 2 West Region team rankings. Laremark was a 2024 All-LSC Honorable Mention selection.

The Women’s Golf All-Academic Team is selected by vote of the LSC sports information directors and recognizes student-athlete accomplishments in the classroom and in their sport. To be eligible for the All-Academic Team ballot, individuals must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Laremark will be a candidate for the 2025-26 Lone Star Conference Fred Jacoby Academic Athlete of the Year award to be announced in June.
