MEN’S
Patrick Russo, Texas A&M University - Commerce, SO, Lewisville, Texas, Lewisville HS
Russo tied for fourth overall at the Dallas Baptist Classic with a 2-under 208, finishing just one stroke back of first place. He shot a career-low 4-under 66 in round two, followed by an even-par 70 in round three to notch the third top-10 finish of his career. Russo is the only Lion to compete in all nine events on the year and now leads A&M-Commerce in scoring average (75.36) with two top-10 and an additional top-20 finish.

WOMEN’S
Sharon Lau, Tarleton State University, SO, Malaysia
Lau won the Doc Housewright Invitational this past week and led her team to a first place overall finish as well. The sophomore from Malaysia shot a 71 for both rounds and tied Wallis Spears from St. Edward’s for first. In a playoff tie-breaker, it took three rounds before a winner was decided and Lau came out victorious. She earned tournament MVP honors for her efforts.
