James Majenge, Cameron, SR, Criminal Justice, Secunda, South Africa, Marais Viljoen
Majenge finished the 8-kilometer Oklahoma Baptist Invitational with a time of 24:46.0 to claim the individual title in the race. This was his third win of the fall, and helped lift the Aggies to a first place team finish at the OBU Invitational.

Caroline Jerotich, Lubbock Christian, FR, Sports Management, Eldoret, Kenya, St. Alphonsus Mutei Girls School
Jerotich came out on top in her first collegiate 6-kilometer race placing first individually at the South Central Region Preview hosted by West Texas A&M in Canyon with a time of 23:38.1. It was the first individual win of the season by any Lady Chap.

Owen Pearce, Oklahoma Christian, FR, Undeclared, Kingman, Kan., Kingman HS
Pearce won the South Central Regional Preview, hosted by West Texas A&M at The Range in Canyon. Pearce covered the 8-kilometer course in 26:01.26, edging runners from DBU and New Mexico Highlands, who each finished within five seconds of him. Pearce became OC’s first individual cross country winner since Nov. 24, 2015.

Jerotich came out on top in her first collegiate 6-kilometer race placing first individually at the South Central Region Preview hosted by West Texas A&M in Canyon with a time of 23:38.1. It was the first individual win of the season by any Lady Chap.

SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
     Kevin Baez, Tarleton, led the way for the Texans at the Angelo State Blue/Gold Classic, finishing in third with a time of 26:15.5 on the 8-kilometer course. It was the second fastest time by a freshman in the meet. The No. 10-ranked team in the region scored 17 points to claim the top spot, 47 points ahead of the second-place finisher host Angelo State.
 
     Landon Thornton, UT Tyler, was UT Tyler's No. 2 finisher at the Mississippi College Invitational, finishing 28th overall with a season-best time of 26:30.46, which was an improvement of 22 seconds over his previous season-high.
 
     Devin Robles, Texas A&M-Kingsville, took second overall at the Pirate Invitational last week as he led the Javelina men's cross country program to the team title at the event. He clocked 28:42.5 over the course of the 8-kilometer race and averaged a mile time of 5:49.0, one of three entries in the event to do so.
 
     Will McIlroy, UT Tyler, Finished 18th overall at the Mississippi College Invitational with a time of 26:00.11 in the 8-kilometer race, an improvement of 52 seconds over his previous season-best posted just a week earlier.
 
     Amerhyst Aguirre, Midwestern State, claimed her second individual meet victory of the season while helping the Mustangs to a team title in the Red River Cross Country Shootout Thursday at the River Creek Golf Course. The junior from Las Cruces finished the 5-kilometer loop in 19:26.70 winning by 13 seconds over Oklahoma City's Kaitlyn Heffernam. The Mustangs scored 18 points to outdistance Dallas Baptist (49) and Southeastern Oklahoma (75). Aguirre has been MSU's front runner in all four meets this season.
 
     Kelly McCaskill, West Texas A&M, led the Lady Buffs as she finished fifth overall at the South Central Region Preview on Saturday morning in Canyon, Texas.  She completed the six-kilometer course in 24:23.2 for her second top-10 performance this season.  The Fort Eustis, Va., native helped WT record a first-place finish among five teams with 47 points, finishing ahead LSC competitors Oklahoma Christian and St. Edward’s.  
 
     Imani Williams, Tarleton, was the top finisher for the Texans women at the Angelo State Blue/Gold Classic, placing 4th with a time of 23:37.9. Williams has been the top finisher for the Texans in every race this season.
 
     Edna Cheptum, Cameron, ended the 5-kilometer race with a time of 19:40.3 good enough for a top ten finish (8th) and the second best time of her Cameron career. Her time helped the Aggies team finish in second place, just 14 point back of the eventual winners East Central.
 
    Theresa Simmons, UT Tyler, was the top individual finisher in the team's first 6-kilometer race of the season, finishing 38th overall with a time of 24:34.02 to lead the Patriots to a 10th-place team finish (of 18 teams) at the Mississippi College Invitational.
 
    Kelsey Castillo finished second out of the 41 runners in the South Central Regional Preview at The Range in Canyon, Texas, on Saturday covering the 6,000-meter course in 23:41.33 to lead the Eagles to a second-place team finish. It was Castillo's highest career finish in a cross country race.
 
    Monica Yanez, Texas A&M-Kingsville, was the spearhead for the Javelina women's cross country program last week as she posted the fastest time in the race at 26:20.3 to take home the individual title while also leading the program to the team title at the event. She averaged a 7:03.8 mile in the race, which allowed her to best the second-place finisher by nearly a full minute.
 
     Sidney Tucker, Midwestern State, finished fourth overall helping the Mustangs claim its second team victory of the season Thursday in the Red River Cross Country Shootout at the River Creek Golf Course. The freshman from Seymour finished the 5K loop in 20:10.60 to post her fourth consecutive team countable finish.
 
     Gracelyn Floyd, UT Tyler, Floyd was the Patriots’ No. 2 individual finisher at the Mississippi College Invitational, finishing just seven seconds behind UTT’s top finisher in the team's first 6-kilometer race of the season. Floyd finished 42nd overall with a time of 24:41.53.
 
     Jenna Brazeal, Tarleton State, had the second-fastest Texan time at the Angelo State Blue/Gold Classic at 24:34.6 which earned her a seventh-place finish. The team placed second with 39 points and ran a 6-kilometer course.
 
     Sara Lindero, Oklahoma Christian, posted a 13th-place finish among 41 runners in the South Central Regional Preview on Saturday in Canyon, Texas, covering the 6-kilometer course in 25:17.29, helping the Eagles to a second-place team finish.
