Ezekiel Kipchirchir, West Texas A&M, JR, Health Sciences, Eldoret, Kenya, Sibanga Secondary
Kipchirchir led West Texas A&M to a runner-up finish with his second top five finish this season at the Texas A&M Invitational last week. Kipchirchir finished the 8-kilometer race in 25:01.7 finishing fourth overall in a field loaded with Division I teams. The Kenya native led the Buffs to a second-place finish behind Texas A&M with 66 points.

Amerhyst Aguirre, Midwestern State, JR, Nursing, Las Cruces, N.M., Onate HS
Aguirre ran her fastest 5-kilometer time in two seasons while leading Midwestern State to a third-place showing in the UTA Gerald Richey Cross Country Invitational Saturday at the Jesse Owens Athletic Complex in Dallas. The junior from Las Cruces, N.M. was the top-Division II finisher with a time of 18:57.7. The Mustangs finished third as a team with 92 points, finishing ahead of Division I programs TCU (Big 12) and Louisiana (Sun Belt).

Kevin Baez, Tarleton, FR, Mechanical Engineering, Vanderbilt, Texas, Industrial HS
Baez was the top finisher in his first collegiate race at the Bob Gravett Invitational last week. The Vanderbilt native finished the 8-kilometer course in 25:58.9 winning by nearly 19 seconds over the second-place finisher. Baez led the Texans to a team title at the invite as Tarleton finished with a perfect score of 15 points.
FEMALE
Jenna Brazeal, Tarleton, FR, Business, Little River, Texas, Academy HS
Brazeal finished second in her first collegiate race at the Bob Gravett Invitational last week. The Little River native finished the 5-kilometer course in 19:42.3 besting the third-place finisher by 9.1 seconds. Brazeal finished just behind teammate Imani Williams as the duo finished first and second overall. Tarleton picked up the team win with a score of 33 finishing 16 points ahead of second place.

SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
James Majenge, Cameron, added another win to his belt this week, taking first at the Aggie Duels last Friday. The senior led the field the whole race to claim his seventh first-place finish during his two years at Cameron. Majenge ran a time of 25:39.0, which was 93 seconds faster than his teammate Roy Kipkorir who finished in second.
Lizbett Rivera, St. Edward’s, set an all-time personal best in the 5k, as the sophomore raced to a third-place finish at last Saturday's UIW Invitational in Live Oak, Texas. Rivera, who was making her season debut, crossed the finish line in a time of 19:01.4, just behind a pair of Division I competitors.
Alma Duran, Cameron, claimed the first race win of her career as she recorded the top time at the Aggie Duels last Friday. The sophomore, who ran a 19:29.0 5k race, crossed the finish line 28 seconds ahead of the next closest competitor to help her team to a first-place finish. Duran now has two top-5 finishes this season.
Imani Williams, Tarleton, was the top finisher at the Bob Gravett Invitational last week with a time of 19:26.5 in the 5-kilometer race. Tarleton finished with a team score of 33 points to take the top spot, finishing 16 points ahead of second-place finisher, Harding.
Alejandra Collier, Cameron, recorded a top-15 finish in just her second collegiate race last Friday. The Killeen, Texas native ran a time of 21:55.0 in the 5K race, helping her team finish first overall at the Aggie Duels.
