DeLaGarza led the top-ranked DBU Women's Golf team to their 8th consecutive tournament title after claiming top medalist honors at the Kiawah Island Classic.  Playing against a field that featured 210 golfers from 40 Division I programs across the nation, DeLaGarza carded a 3-under par, 213, and was one of just three golfers to finish under par in a tournament that was played at Oak Point Golf Club and Cougar Point. DeLaGarza posted the top round in the tournament, firing a first round score of 5-under par, 72. DeLaGarza's first place finish is the second of her young career.

SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
      Monica Dibildox, St. Mary’s, despite windy weather conditions, Dibildox managed to card a one-under 71 in the opening round of the Rattler Invitational. The graduate student finished the first round with 15 pars and two birdies. In the second round, Dibildox finished one-over making her even for the tournament. The win is the first career victory for Monica.  Monica's 144 helped lead the Rattlers to the team title, finishing first out of 13 teams in the field.
      Juanita Gomez, Midwestern State, carded consecutive, 1-over 73s to finish second in the St. Mary's Rattler Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Dominion Country Club. It was her second Top-10 finish of the season while both tallies matched her low round in 2020-21. Gomez lowered her team low season stroke average to 76.13 with an 83.7 finish percentage.
