NCAA Division II Women’s and Men’s Golf Committees announced on Sunday (April 26) the teams and individuals selected for their respective national tournament fields.
2026 Division II Women's Golf Championship
Eight teams and one individual will represent the Lone Star Conference at the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf West Regional scheduled May 4-6 at the Pueblo Country Club in Pueblo, Colo.
Defending Division II national champion
DBU is seeded first in the West Regional and is joined by No. 2 seed
UT Tyler, No. 4 seed and LSC champion
St. Mary’s, No. 6 seed
West Texas A&M, No. 7 seed
Midwestern State, No. 13 seed
Angelo State, No. 14 seed
Lubbock Christian and No. 15 seed
Texas A&M International.

The 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship opens with 72 teams and 24 individuals vying for national and regional team and individual titles. Eighteen teams and six individuals qualified for the West Regional with both team and individual competition conducted concurrently in the 54-hole tournament. Following West Regional play, five teams and the top two individuals not on an advancing team move on to the tournament championship May 12-16 at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
In the 2025 Division II tournament, DBU secured its third NCAA national title after winning 4-1 over No. 20 Central Missouri in the championship match. West Texas A&M closed the tournament advancing to the quarterfinal medal match.
2026 Division II Men's Golf Championship
The Lone Star Conference will have seven teams and one individual competing at the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf South Central/West Regional on May 7-9 at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, Calif.
West Texas A&M is the top-seeded team in the Regional with
St. Mary’s the No. 4 seed,
UT Permian Basin No. 5 seed and
DBU No. 6 seed. LSC champion
Cameron is seeded No. 7 with conference runner-up
UT Tyler the No. 8 seed and
Midwestern State No. 10 seed.

A total 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals earned selection to the 2026 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships field and begin the tournament at one of four regional sites. At a minimum, the top three teams and top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the tournament finals scheduled May 18–22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. The remaining eight team berths are allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year’s head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven.
Three LSC teams advanced to the Division II tournament finals in 2025 with St. Mary’s finishing seventh, Oklahoma Christian eighth and West Texas A&M tied at 14th,
