SELECTED NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Trevor Norby, Oklahoma Christian, for a third straight tournament, posted a top-two individual finish, placing second in the DBU Patriot Classic at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas. He led an Oklahoma Christian team playing without two of its usual starters to its fourth title of the 2020-21 season. Norby, who opened the tournament with consecutive rounds of 3-under 69, recorded an eagle along the way while tying for second with three Texas Tech golfers at 6-under 210. He finished ahead of nine other NCAA Division I golfers in the 98-man field.
Monica Dibildox, St. Mary’s, picked up her second victory of the season this week at the Hardscrabble Invitational. She finished with a three-round total of 220 (70-72-78) and shared top medalist honors with Hannah Choi of Henderson State.  Dibildox carded 29 pars and nine birdies over three rounds. The graduate transfer started the tournament by shooting even-par and went just two-over in the second round to lead the Rattlers to their second team tournament win of the season.
Wilma Merenmies, Oklahoma Christian, shot 72-73—145 (1-over-par) to tie for fifth in a 107-woman field and lead OC to a runner-up finish – the highest among six LSC squads in the 20-team event – in the Palm Valley Classic at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz., last Friday and Saturday. She opened her first round with three straight birdies and finished with five on the day. Her second round included three birdies and helped OC post its best team round in program history, an even-par 288 that vaulted the Eagles up the leaderboard.
