Accomplishments at UTT:

• Scored the second most points (78) in UT Tyler women's soccer history
• Totaled 31 goals, the second most in program history
• Named to the 2016 NSCAA All-West Region team
• Helped UTT advance to the ASC Championship game in three out of her four seasons and claim the 2015 ASC Regular Season Championship and berth in the NCAA Division III Championship.  

 
Statistics:

• Career: 78 points (2nd all-time); 31 goals (2nd all-time); 111 shots on goal (2nd all-time); 10 game winning goals (3rd all-time).

 
Where they are now: Brittany Matthews is currently engaged to Super Bowl Champion and NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and is a founder and co-owner of the Kansas City Women's Soccer Club of the NWSL. Matthews went on to sign a professional contract with UMF Afturelding/Fram in Iceland following her playing career at UT Tyler and played for the club for one season upon returning home to the states. She launched her own online training program in 2019 following her professional soccer career and has generated a following of over a million followers through her fitness company.
