LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll released

The Lone Star Conference announced that 2,293 student-athletes have earned Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors for the 2021-22 fall semester.
 
      West Texas A&M had 199 student-athletes recognized for their academic achievements to lead all LSC institutions.  Oklahoma Christian was second with 193 honorees, followed by Angelo State (174), Texas A&M-Commerce (158), and DBU (156) in third through fifth.
 
      Of the 2,293 honorees, 738 (32.2%) earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fall semester. WT and Lubbock Christian topped the list with 69 student-athletes each completing unflawed semesters followed by ASU with 62, A&M-C (59), and UT Tyler (54).
 
      Women’s soccer had a league-best 100 student-athletes earn perfect marks followed by volleyball (80), softball (75), and baseball (71).
 
      The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes, athletic training, and athletic performance students qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester.  To be eligible for the honor roll, individuals must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
