LSC Cross Country Top Times - As of 10/19/22 (PDF)
Eight Lone Star Conference cross country teams recorded top-three finishes last week, including DBU's ninth-ranked women's team and West Texas A&M's 25th-ranked men's and women's teams, who earned team wins. The Oklahoma Christian men and women also claimed team victories, while the Eastern New Mexico men and women took home second-place honors.

Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championships
The 2022 LSC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are slated for Saturday, November 5, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the River Creek Golf Course hosted by Midwestern State. The championships will consist of an 8-kilometer race for the men at 9:30 a.m., followed by the women's 6-kilometer race at 10:30 a.m. For more information, visit

MEN'S
Noah Metzger, DBU, SR, M.A. in Theological Studies, McKinney, Texas, McKinney HS
DBU's Noah Metzger placed fourth in a field of 155 runners at the DBU Old Glory Gallop on Saturday at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Metzger clocked a time of 24:18.0 in the 8-kilometer event and averaged 4:53.3 per mile. With his performance, Metzger led DBU to a podium finish with a third-place showing in the 15-team event.
WOMEN'S
Madison Brown, DBU, SR, Biology, Round Rock, Texas, Round Rock Christian Academy
DBU's Madison Brown led the 9th-ranked Lady Patriots to a win at the DBU Old Glory Gallop after posting a first-place finish at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, on Saturday. Brown clocked a time of 17:18.5 and averaged 5:34.2 en route to her second win of the season in the 5-kilometer race.

Drew McLaughlin, DBU, FR, Marketing, Denton, Texas, Denton HS
DBU freshman Drew McLaughlin posted a 22nd-place finish in a field of 155 runners at the DBU Old Glory Gallop on Saturday at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. McLaughlin crossed the finish line with a time of 25:37.3 and averaged 5:09.2 per mile in the 8-kilometer event.
WOMEN'S
Lexi Maul, West Texas A&M, FR, Sports & Exercise Science, Pampa, Texas, Pampa HS
Lexi Maul was the fourth Lady Buff to cross the line as WT grabbed its first victory of the season, scoring a season-low 30 points at the NMJC Invitational II. The freshman finished the 5-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 10.2 seconds to place sixth overall, earning her first collegiate Top 10 finish.
