GOLFERS OF THE WEEK
MEN’S
Alejandro Armijo, Oklahoma Christian, SR, Sports Management, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Cleveland HS
Armijo led No. 6 Oklahoma Christian to team title at The Hrnciar held at the Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Oklahoma. He finished tied for first at 8-under par 208 (75-63-70) and won the event in a playoff.  Armijo broke the school record with his second-round score of 63 (-9).
 
WOMEN’S
Sydney Williams, UAFS, SO, Graphic Design, Frisco, Texas, Wakeland HS
Williams won a five-hole playoff to earn medalist honors at the Nick Turner Invitational. Williams finished with a two-round total of 1-over par 145 after carding a 71 (-1) in round two with three birdies. She shot a 74 (+2) in round one and was tied for eighth after 18 holes. Williams and UAFS shot the low round of the day in round two with a 295 for a third-place team finish.
