LSC Cross Country Top Times - As of 10/27/22 (PDF)
Six Lone Star Conference cross country teams recorded top-three finishes last week. Western New Mexico's women's and men's teams claimed victories at the Angelo State Blue and Gold Classic. ASU recorded second-place finishes in both races, while Eastern New Mexico's women and Texas A&M-Kingsville's men took third place. Teams will now prepare for the 2022 LSC Cross Country Championships next week.

Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championships
The 2022 LSC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are slated for Saturday, November 5, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the River Creek Golf Course hosted by Midwestern State. The championships will consist of an 8-kilometer race for the men at 9:30 a.m., followed by the women's 6-kilometer race at 10:30 a.m. For more information, visit

Owen Pearce, Oklahoma Christian, SO, Interdisciplinary Studies, Kingman, Kan., Kingman HS
OC's Owen Pearce finished 14th out of 486 runners at the University of Alabama Huntsville Invitational. His 23:55.00 over the 8-kilometer course marked a new personal best for the sophomore and led OC to a 15th-place finish in a 48-team field that included seven nationally-ranked NCAA Division II teams.

Caroline Karr, Oklahoma Christian, FR, Biology, Amarillo, Texas, San Jacinto Christian Academy
OC's Caroline Karr led the women's cross country team at the University of Alabama Huntsville Invitational last week, finishing 15th in a field of 400 runners. Her 5-kilometer time of 17:44.6 was a new personal best as she shaved over 30 seconds off her previous fastest time one week earlier. The freshman's performance led the Eagles to a 12th-place finish in a field of 44 teams, including six nationally-ranked squads.
