The Midwestern State women and Cameron men took home the team titles at the Aggie Duels in Lawton, Oklahoma, last week to headline the slate of Lone Star Conference cross country teams in action.

RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
MEN'S
Jake Cousineau, Cameron, SR, Biology, Fergus, Ontario, Centre Wellington District HS
Cousineau opened his 2022 season by picking up the individual title and leading Cameron to the team title at the Aggie Duels. The senior won the 8-kilometer race with a time of 25:41.0, a new personal record in the event.
WOMEN'S
Belle Vignes, Cameron, JR, Psychology, Ponchatoula, La., Ponchatoula HS
Vignes took home the individual title at the Aggie Duels in Lawton, Oklahoma, to open the season and led Cameron to a second-place team finish. The Louisiana native stopped the clock in the 5-kilometer race at 18:44.0, marking a new personal best for the junior.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Marcos Herrera, Cameron, FR, Undecided, Graham, Texas, Graham HS
Herrera had an impressive start to his college career, taking home sixth place at the Aggie Duels to open his 2022 campaign. The freshman completed the 8-kilometer course in 27:11.0 to help the Aggies capture the team title.
WOMEN'S
Cori Morgan, Midwestern State, FR, Geoscience, Waxahachie, Texas, Waxahachie HS
Morgan led Midwestern State to its first team title since 2019 by taking second at the Cameron Aggie Duels last Friday morning at the Big Green Soccer Complex in Lawton, Oklahoma. The freshman from Waxahachie turned in a 5-kilometer time of 18:48.0 which landed her 12th on MSU's all-time performance chart.
