LSC releases Commissioner’s Honor Roll

The Lone Star Conference announced that 2,302 student-athletes have earned Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors for the 2022-23 fall semester.
 
      West Texas A&M had 208 student-athletes acknowledged for their academic achievements to lead all LSC members.  Lubbock Christian was second with 191 honorees, followed by UT Tyler (182), Oklahoma Christian (181), and Angelo State (171).
 
      Of the 2,302 student-athletes, 731 (31.8%) earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fall semester. WT topped the list with 90 posting impeccable semesters followed by LCU with 84, UTT (74), ASU (65), and UT Permian Basin (52).
 
      Women’s soccer had a league-best 96 student-athletes earn perfect marks followed by volleyball (75), softball (72), and baseball (71).
 
      The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes, athletic training, and athletic performance students qualifying based on grade point average for the current semester.  To be eligible for the honor roll, individuals must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
