No. 18 UT Permian Basin, Eastern New Mexico, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Angelo State all earned Week 10 league wins, while No. 24 Central Washington had a bye. To read the recaps, click here.
 
UTPB (9-1 overall, 7-0 LSC) and CWU (7-2, 7-0 LSC) are the only conference teams unbeaten in league play. The Falcons and Wildcats will meet for the outright LSC championship on Saturday Nov. 11 at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland, Texas. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT.
 
UTPB has won eight straight games and CWU has won seven in a row. UTPB owns the league’s top total offense (494.6 yards per game), scoring offense (46.4 points per game) and total defense (253.2 ypg). The Falcons have the league’s top passer in Kenny Hrncir (254.8 ypg and 28 TDs. Central Washington running back Tyler Flanagan leads the LSC in rushing at 105.9 ypg and 11 touchdowns, while Wildcats safety Tanner Volk leads the NCAA at all levels with nine interceptions. CWU has allowed just 38 points over its last three games.
 
In addition to the UTPB-CWU matchup, this final week of the regular season features Texas A&M-Kingsville at Midwestern State, Eastern New Mexico at Western New Mexico and Western Oregon at Angelo State on Saturday. West Texas A&M has a bye.
 
The LSC has four teams in the first NCAA Division II “Super Region Four” regional rankings, which were released Nov. 6. CWU is No. 3, UTPB is No. 4, ASU is No. 8 and Texas A&M-Kingsville is No. 10. To see all the rankings, click here.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
Mario Sanchez, Eastern New Mexico, So., Accounting, QB, Denver City, Texas, DCHS
Sanchez ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 173 yards and another score to fuel a 35-27 come-from-behind win over West Texas A&M. Sanchez, who had 20 carries, had a rushing TD in all but the first quarter. His long run was 53 yards. Sanchez’s longest pass was 55 yards, a TD strike to Andre Jones in the third quarter to give the Greyhounds a 21-13 advantage. He led 510 yards of total offense, which is a top 10 mark in the LSC this season.
 
DEFENSIVE
Keon Clary, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sr., Business Management, CB, West Columbia, S.C., White Knoll HS
Clary had two interceptions – both in the second quarter – to help Texas A&M-Kingsville secure a 34-27 road win over Western Oregon. Clary, who added four tackles, totaled 53 return yards on returns. His first interception came in Wolves territory and his second pick set up a touchdown that gave the Javelinas a 20-7 advantage.

Francisco Moreno Gonzalez, Eastern New Mexico, Gr., Communications, PP, Paseo de las Americas, Monterrey, Mexico
Moreno Gonzalez averaged 50.7 yards per punt with a long boom of 68 yards to help Eastern New Mexico to a 35-27 win over West Texas A&M. Moreno Gonzalez had two punts pinned inside the 20-yard line. One punt was a 56-yarder in the fourth quarter during a one-possession game.
