MEN’S 
Alejandro Armijo, Oklahoma Christian, SR, Sports Management, Rio Rancho, N.M., Cleveland HS
Armijo opened up the spring season the same way he finished the fall – with an individual title. Armijo fired an 8-under-par 70-71-67 at the Houston Classic, held at Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas. He had 15 birdies and one eagle at the event and only posted one bogey during his final round. Armijo’s play helped Oklahoma Christian to a second-place team finish.
 
WOMEN’S 
Eugenie Varet, UT Permian Basin, FR, Engineering, Maule, France
Varet posted a final-round 75 to help elevate UT Permian Basin to a runner-up finish at The Cactus Thaw at par-72 Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course in El Paso, Texas. Varet finished tied for third individually with a 158 total and her 75 tied for the second lowest round in the event. She collected six birdies.
