LSC Women's Basketball Championship Central
LSC Tournament Time! The second 2023-24 "season" – the conference tournament – takes the spotlight for eight teams advancing to the 42nd edition of the Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. Games are scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday (March 8-9-10) at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
Tickets are on sale for the LSC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships at the Comerica Center box office and Ticketmaster. Championship ticket information is available
here. ... Both LSC men's and women's basketball tournaments are played at the Comerica Center in Frisco. The men's tournament games are scheduled March 7, 9 and 10.

Regular Season Winners: Lone Star Conference season champion and division titles wrapped-up over the final games of the conference schedule. Lubbock Christian secured a second straight West Division title with a sweep of West Texas A&M in the Rivalry on the Range home-and-home weekend. Texas Woman's claimed both the LSC season and East Division crowns, winning each for a second consecutive season. The season championship, based on overall LSC record, comes with No. 1 seeding in the conference tournament.

Texas A&M International senior Raiana Brown recorded the 2,000th point of her collegiate career in the regular season closing 83-73 win vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville (Feb. 29). The forward was an efficient .765 (13-of-17) from the field, finishing with 27 points. In addition to her offensive efforts, Brown totaled five steals and seven rebounds, including six on the defensive boards.
DEFENSIVE
Alexus Quaadman, UT Permian Basin, F, Gr., MBA, Las Vegas, Nev. (Spring Valley HS)
A solid defensive performance from forward Alexus Quaadman helped UT Permian Basin to its first-ever berth in the LSC Tournament. The graduate student opened the two-game weekend set vs. Angelo State posting her 11th season double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, including eight defensive, plus two blocked shots (Feb. 28). In the series finale, Quaadman recorded three blocks, grabbed 6 defensive rebounds, and scored 10 points (March 2).
