The Lone Star Conference volleyball regular season is complete, and Angelo State (21-7 overall) and Lubbock Christian (23-6 overall) are co-champions with 15-2 league records.
 
It is ASU’s 12th LSC regular season title, while LCU celebrates its first crown in the conference.
 
Due to the conference’s tie-breaker policy, ASU earned the right to host the LSC tournament, which is set for Thursday-Saturday (Nov. 20-22) at Junell Center-Stephens Arena in San Angelo, Texas. Joining ASU and LCU will be No. 17 West Texas A&M, St. Mary’s, UT Tyler, Texas Woman’s, Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
 
ASU has the top winning streak in the league at eight matches.
 
The LSC All-Conference and All-Academic teams will be announced Nov. 19 live at the LSC Volleyball Championship Banquet and on LoneStarConference.org.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
Jane Burkhardt, UT Dallas, OH, Fr., Marketing, Phoenix, Ariz.
UT Dallas freshman outside hitter Jane Burkhardt averaged 5.56 kills per set with a .315 hitting percentage to help the Comets close out the season with wins over DBU and TWU. Burkhardt, who won the league’s top weekly freshman award earlier this season, also averaged three digs per set as she produced two double doubles. In a four-set win over DBU, Burkhardt hit. 328 and had a match-high 24 kills with 17 digs. Her 26 kills in a five-set victory over TWU were also a match best. On the week, she added one assist and one block.
 
DEFENSIVE
Alyssa Koehl, St. Mary’s, L, Sr., ESS, New Braunfels, Texas
St. Mary’s senior libero Alyssa Koehl averaged 7.29 digs per set over the final two matches of the regular season to help the Rattlers secure the No. 4 seed for the LSC tournament. Koehl also became just the second player in StMU history to record 2,000 digs in a career. Koehl added seven assists and four service aces. Ina four-set win over Western New Mexico, she had a match-high 29 digs. It was the 15th time she eclipsed 20 kills this season. Her play has helped the Rattlers win seven of their last eight matches.
 
SETTER
Camdyn Sears, Lubbock Christian, S, Fr., Liberal Arts, Midland, Texas
Lubbock Christian freshman setter Camdyn Sears dished out 65 assists – the most in a single match in the LSC this season – to propel the Lady Chaps to a five-set win over Midwestern State that secured a share of the conference championship. Sears, who wins the league’s top setter award for the fourth time this season, added 10 digs, four kills and two service aces. She directed an offense that produced 78 kills – also the most in a single game in the league this season.
 
FRESHMAN
Anna Arceneaux, UT Tyler, L, Fr. Psychology, San Antonio, Texas
UT Tyler freshman Anna Arceneaux averaged 5.75 digs per set to fuel two wins over Texas Woman’s and DBU. Arceneaux also had six assists, four service aces and a kill as the Patriots recorded their third straight win entering the LSC tournament. In a five-set victory over TWU, Arceneaux had a match-high 33 digs and two aces. In a sweep of DBU, Arceneaux and company limited the Patriots to a .142 hitting percentage.
