RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced the league has entered a corporate partnership with Hour-A-Thon, a national leader supporting athletic departments in fundraising.
Under the multi-year agreement, Hour-A-Thon is provided opportunities to assist the 18 LSC member institutions in their athletics fundraising efforts.
“With a proven track record, Hour-A-Thon affords our membership an avenue to enhance their current athletic department fundraising efforts,” said Jay Poerner, Lone Star Conference commissioner. “We look forward to working with Hour-A-Thon and the LSC membership in expanding fundraising opportunities.”

The Hour-A-Thon format is a competition-based platform utilizing direct phone and text contact between participants and potential supporters over one hour of time generating funding in record time.
