The opening round is best-of-three series and will be held May 1-3 (Friday-Sunday) at the sites of the No. 2 (vs. No. 7), 3 (vs. 6) and 4 (vs. 5) seeds. The LSC Tournament Champion will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Championship.
The South Central Regionals are scheduled for May 14-17 with the Super Regional following on May 21-23. The campus sites are TBD. The national finals are set for May 29-June 6 at USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
(April 2-5 games)
HITTER
Connor Clark, UT Tyler, OF, Jr., Management, Sherman, Texas
UT Tyler junior outfielder Connor Clark set the tone in the leadoff spot to fuel the No. 11-ranked Patriots’ first-place series win on the road against UT Dallas. Clark had seven hits, including two home runs. He had at least one hit in all four games, drove in four runs and scored five times. Clark also walked twice, was hit by a pitch, struck out just once and stole a base. He kept up his perfect fielding percentage on the season in center field. In the series-opening victory, Clark led off with a single and ended up going 3-for-5 with a homer as UT Tyler snapped the Comets’ nine-game winning streak. Clark’s play has helped the Patriots win 11 of the last 12 games.
PITCHER
Aaron Rubio, Lubbock Christian, RHP, Sr., Business Administration, Las Vegas, Nev.
Lubbock Christian senior right-hander Aaron Rubio tossed a complete-game, four-hit shutout on the road against West Texas A&M. Rubio, who wins the league’s top weekly pitching award for the second time this season, struck out four batters and issued only one walk over the seven innings. He only needed 85 pitches and limited the Buffs, who entered hitting .336, to just one extra-base hit. Only one WT baserunner reached third base. Rubio improved to 6-1 and lowered his ERA to 3.04 on the season. He has allowed two earned runs or less in seven of his last eight starts.
