Incarnate Word's Joana De Sa Pereira was tabbed Lone Star Conference Golfer of the Week for her efforts, league officials announced today.

Pereira led UIW to its first victory of the spring season at the Pepsi-Lion Invitational with a 154 (82-72), good for a tie for the first place individual title. It was her second individual victory in two events, as she also won the Cardinals’ last event in Austin hosted by St. Edward’s University. (She finished second at the Lady Rattler Roundup prior)
